Colors bleeding through the paper’s edge
A spiral arm, a child’s pledge
To hold the dark between the lines
Where Saturn rings and silence shines
I drew a door, it opened wide
To nebulae I tried to hide
Beneath the couch, behind the days
The universe in purple haze
Wax and wonder, melt and merge
Stardust falling from the verge
Of everything I meant to say—
Just press hard, then fade away
